<p>This Acceptable Use Policy governs the use of MarketConnect (operated by Digitised Local Markets LTD) by all buyers and vendors.</p>
<h2>Permitted use</h2>
<p>MarketConnect is a marketplace connecting verified vendors trading in Nigerian markets with customers, for the lawful sale of genuine consumer goods.</p>
<h2>Prohibited goods & activities</h2>
<p>Users may not list, sell, buy, or facilitate: counterfeit or stolen goods; illegal drugs, weapons, or regulated items sold without a licence; adult or obscene material; live animals or endangered wildlife products; hazardous or recalled products; financial, gambling, or pyramid schemes; or any goods or services prohibited by Nigerian law.</p>
<h2>Prohibited conduct</h2>
<p>Users may not misrepresent their identity or business, engage in fraud or money laundering, manipulate reviews or pricing, harvest other users' data, attempt to bypass platform fees, use the platform to move funds unrelated to a genuine sale, or interfere with the platform's operation or security.</p>
<h2>Vendor obligations</h2>
<p>Vendors must be genuine, CAC-registered businesses, list only goods they own and can deliver, describe goods accurately, honour displayed prices, and fulfil orders promptly.</p>
<h2>Enforcement</h2>
<p>We may remove listings, suspend, or permanently close accounts that breach this policy, and report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.</p>
